MOH: 5 CPR Training Centers Inaugurated
13 February 2017
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced the inauguration of five training centers in Riyadh Region for the development of clinical skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). These centers are available at each of the following hospitals: Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal Hospital, Al-Yamamah Hospital, King Khalid Hospital in Al-Majmaah, King Khalid Hospital in Al-Kharj and Al- Dawadmi Hospital, given that all of them are accredited by the Saudi Heart Association (SHA) for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

It is worth mentioning that the number of trainers for qualifying the clinical cadres has been increased to 50 trainers accredited by AHA. Thus, these new centers will currently provide a number of 192 trainee seats monthly, instead of 72 trainee seats previously.

It is worth mentioning that this step comes as part of the MOH’s keenness on the training and qualification of the employees at hospitals and health centers for honing their skills on CPR.
