MOH: ‘A Pharmacy Technician Terminated Due to Condemnation of Drug Smuggling from the Pharmacy of KAH’
14 December 2016
The Spokesman of the Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that His Excellency the Ministry of Health has recently issued a resolution sacking a pharmacy technician (Saudi female) after proven guilty by the Appellate Court; due to her condemnation of drug smuggling from the pharmacy of King Abdulaziz Hospital (KAH) in Al-Zaher and selling these drugs outside the hospital, in collaboration with a cleaning worker.

The MOH’s spokesman underscored that the Ministry will not tolerate to take the statutory procedures against those proven guilty or negligent or violating regulations.

Within the same vein, he highlighted the MOH’s keenness to upgrade the performance of its health facilities and monitor the performance of its staff, in such a manner that ensures the development and improvement of its health services provided to citizens, as well as the work process in such facilities, in line with the adopted regulations.
