The MOH’s Clinical Skills & Simulation Center Accredited as a Training Center for DMEP Courses

The Clinical Skills & Simulation Center (CSSC) at the Ministry of Health (MOH) has been granted an international accreditation by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) as a training center for Disaster Management & Emergency Preparedness (DMEP) courses.
 
The MOH has pointed out that this accreditation comes as part of a series of those national and international training programs that the MOH seek to provide for health practitioners; in an endeavor to hone their skills and competencies in dealing with different medical cases. The CSSC has adopted 13 national and international programs for health practitioners in various specialties, May Allah be praised, meanwhile, seeking to approve other international programs meant to deal with critical and emergency cases.
 
It is worth mentioning that the CSSC has assumed the preparedness of trainers and qualification of the distinguished competencies in order to contribute afterwards to expanding the training circle across the various health centers in the Kingdom.
 
During the current year, the CSSC has implemented 120 specialized courses for preparing qualified competences to deal with saving-life, emergency and disasters cases, by means of using the medical simulation-based training.
