Al-Rabiah Inspects Madinah’s Health Facilities

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, underlined the importance to invest the available capabilities, in such a manner that will be positively reflected on improving the health services, and to double the efforts for developing work, increasing efficiency and achieving the optimum utilization of modern technology, meanwhile making this matter a priority to boost performance of health facilities.
 
This came during his meeting in the evening of the day before yesterday with the senior officials of Madinah Health Affairs General Directorate, in the presence of the Vice Minister of Health for Health Affairs, Mr. Hamad Al-Duweila'. Within the framework of his current visit to Madinah, Al-Rabiah commended their efforts, meanwhile highlighting that the role of the Ministry of Health (MOH) is to provide all therapeutic and medical health services to patients at the highest level and quality, and to support hospitals with all their requirements; in order to contribute to achieving their satisfaction. Also, he urged them to exert further efforts to provide healthcare for the beneficiaries of the services, in such a manner that attains their satisfaction, maintains their health and safety and improves the health services provided for them. 
   
At the outset of his inspection tour, he visited the Health Control Center at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, where he has got briefed on the preparations taken by the Center for serving this year's pilgrims and visitors of the two holy mosques. Besides, he listened to a detailed presentation on their achievements and the challenges they are facing in regard to the prevention of the infectious diseases transmission into the Kingdom, and he got briefed on the efforts exerted for serving the pilgrims and visitors to the Prophetic Mosque (Al-Masjid An-Nabawi). 
   
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Rabiah paid last Thursday an inspection visit to a number of Madinah’s health facilities including, Al-Ansar Hospital, King Fahad Hospital and Ohud Hospital, where he met with patients and checked on the progress of services provided for them. He also visited a number of primary healthcare centers at Al-Masjid An-Nabawi, namely: Al-safia Health Center and seasonal Bab Jabreel Health Center.
