Eng. Al-Falih Inspects Madinah's Health Facilities, Heads the Meeting of Hajj Committees

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, has conducted yesterday (Thursday) an inspection tour through the health facilities of Madinah; in order to have a closer look at the workflow and the health services provided there, as well as to check the readiness of these facilities to serve the visitors of the Prophet's Mosque, peace be upon him. In this regard, Eng. Al-Falih visited Al-Safeyah Health Center, Al-Ansar Hospital and the health center annexed to the airport. During his inspection tour, he was accompanied by a number of the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) senior officials, the heads of Hajj Preparatory Committees, the Director General of Madinah Health Affairs, Dr. Ahmad bin Ibrahim Al-Sagheer, and a constellation of health leaderships in Madinah.
 
Within the same vein, His Excellency has visited a number of patients and visitors of health facilities; to check on their health status and listen to their comments and suggestions with regard to the health services provided to them. “This inspection tour comes within the general framework of the colossal efforts made by our wise government to get ready for receive the visitors of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, peace be upon him; the matter which the MOH takes as one of its top priorities,” said Eng. Al-Falih.
 
Upon his inspection tour, the Minister of Health presided over the meeting of the Hajj Preparatory Committees. During which, he underscored the importance of exerting the utmost efforts to provide healthy environment for pilgrims; to help them perform the rituals easily and conveniently.
 
"I am proud of the efforts exerted by the Hajj committees, especially their achievements during the past years in combating the epidemic diseases," Al-Falih said. Besides, he underlined his unlimited support to these committees, meanwhile showing that caring for the pilgrims’ health needs planning and cooperation, beginning from the originating countries of pilgrims; which are supposed to abide by the health requirements, by examining the pilgrims, and providing the best preventive and therapeutic services for them.
