The Saudi Health Simulation Conference to be Launched Tomorrow Wednesday

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2015 will be launched tomorrow at Al-Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh under the theme: "Simulation: Future Directions in Saudi Arabia".
 
The conference targets all health professionals, trainers and leaders in the health field, in addition to students. Meanwhile, it aims at setting an integrated national strategy for simulation-based training to manage the infrastructure and create governing policies, as well as unifying and measuring trainees' performance in line with the scientific accreditation standards compatible with the objectives of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
 
More than 60 international and domestic speakers in the field of clinical simulation will participate in the conference that will be accompanied by 13 specialized workshops in this field, focusing on using high resolution simulation in heath training and education.
 
It's to be noted that the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) has accredited 24 hours of continued medical education (CME) for the conference, and that such hours were accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Society in Europe for Simulation applied to medicine- SESAM.
