The Minister of Health to Patronize the Saudi Health Simulation Conference

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Ministry of Health (MOH) Agency for Human Capital Planning and Development, as represented by the Training and Scholarships General Department, will organize the Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2015 over the period from June 9th to 11th, 2015 (corresponding to Sha‘ban 22nd to 24th, 1436 H) at Al-Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh.
 
Meanwhile, the Director General of Training and Scholarships, Dr. Mansour Al-Yami, said that organizing this conference aims at creating an integrated national strategy for simulation-based training. The conference targets all health professionals, trainers and leaders in the health field, in addition to the students from all health sectors.
 
Likewise, he added that a number of international speakers in different specialties as well as domestic speakers have been invited to the conference.  In addition, he called upon all health professionals, including physicians, nurses and students, to participate in this conference. Besides, the invitation is open for all sectors from all regions in the Kingdom to benefit from the conference and help to exchange expertise among them and organize discussions between the trainers and the trainees to unify training standards in the different regions of the Kingdom.  
 
Dr. Al-Yami noted that the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) has accredited 24 hours of continued medical education (CME) to for conference.
