His Excellency the Minister of Health Mr. Ahmad bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb issued a resolution relieving the Director-General of Makkah Health Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Me‘allem of his post. The resolution also included assigning the Deputy Minister for Therapeutic Services Dr. Tareef bin Yousef Alaama to serve as the Acting Director-General of Makkah Health Affairs, in addition to his current duties, until further notice.
The resolution comes to reconfirm the Ministry of Health (MOH) keenness to upgrade its services, and to send a clear message to all colleagues at the Ministry that they should perform and complete their duties in the best possible way in line with the MOH's directives and developmental process, in order to provide the best health services for the valued citizens, in implementation of the royal directives. Meanwhile, such a step confirms the MOH's relentless efforts to avoid the shortcomings, and at the same time, shows its desire to appreciate and honor the distinguished employees.
