The 3rd Saudi Forum for Hospital Planning and Designing to Be Held Tomorrow under Mr. Al-Khateeb’s Auspices

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Ahmad bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, the Third Saudi Forum for Hospital Planning and Designing is to be organized by the Saudi Umran Society (Health Architects Division) tomorrow, Wednesday, at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RIC&EC). The forum will last for four days.
 
The forum will be participated by representatives of governmental sectors, including the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Ministry of Defense (MOD), the Ministry of Interior (MOI), the Ministry of National Guard (MONG) and the Ministry of Education (MOE).  That is to be added to the participation of a number of specialists from the engineering and consulting sectors and a number of academics, engineers and contractors in charge of implementing health projects in the Kingdom, represented by 32 experts from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the GCC states and a number of the European countries, USA and Canada.
 
It is worth mentioning that the forum will discuss a number of topics, including the new design trends for healing environment, the relationship between the healing environment and the psychological, social and cultural human needs, the impact of new technologies in creating a positive healing environment and the role of standards in providing a successful healing environment, in addition to some applications from a variety of cultural environments to be presented as studying cases.
