"Alomar" Named Deputy Minister for Labs, "Al-Dhewaile" An Advisor to the Minister, "Al-Fakhri" in Charge of Stumbled Projects

Within the framework of his keenness to attract prominent medical and administrative cadres, His Excellency the Minister of health Mr. Ahmad bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb has issued a resolution assigning Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Alomar as Deputy Minister for Laboratories and Blood Banks, Mr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Dhewaile as Advisor to the Health Minister and Mr. Hussein Al-Fakhri to be in charge of stumbled projects and operation of the Ministry of Health's (MOH) facilities.
 
The assignees expressed their thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Health for such precious trust, hoping to be at good expectation of everyone and contribute to supporting and developing the health services to meet the satisfaction of all. The resolutions came within the framework of the Ministry's policy and approach of attracting the national competencies of the MOH and enriching them with outstanding experiences for servicing the beneficiaries and working to improve the services provided for them.
 
It is noteworthy that Mr. Ahmad Al-Dhewaile is one of the administrative competencies in the health field, noting that he is a holder of bachelor degree in pharmacy from the University of King Saud in Riyadh, 1979, and a master degree in hospital management from the US University of Arizona and also worked as director-general of health services for Aramco for 29 years (1981-2009).
 
While Mr. Hassan Al-Fakhri is also one of the efficient administrative and financial competencies, as he obtained the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard University, Management Program for Executives (MPE) from University of Pittsburgh and bachelor of civil engineering from the University of Porcelan.
 
He worked for Al Bilad Bank from 2007 to 2009 and an advisor at the same bank in 2010, in addition to occupying several positions, such as the director-general of the companies financing group at Riyadh Bank from 1999 to 2006, vice president and head of customers strategies and tactics at Bank Al Jazira from 1997 to 1998, deputy director-general of Azizia Panda United Co. from 1995 to 1997, assistant director-general and director of financial and administrative affairs at the Arab National Bank from 1992 to 1995, head of the therapeutic department at the Saudi American Bank from 1981 to 1987 as well as the director of relations and in-charge of the therapeutic department at the same bank, and a deputy director-general at the United Saudi Commercial Bank from 1981 to 1992.
 
And Dr. Ibrahim Alomar is a holder of PhD in blood diseases from the University of Nottingham, UK, and a member of each of the American Association of Blood Banks, the World Association of Blood Banks and the Board of Directors of the Saudi Charity Association for Genetic Diseases.
 
He also assumed many positions, such as the Kingdom representative in the Board of Directors of the Arab Authority for Blood Transfusion Services and an advisor in the same authority, as well as an expert at the World Health Organization (WHO) in the field of blood transfusion services and then director-general of laboratories and blood banks at the MOH. He won the Arab award for blood transfusion services upon nomination by the Council of Arab Health Ministers, in addition to his contribution in programs and projects related to the development of the blood transfusion services and his numerous writings and researches published in the field of medical laboratories and blood banks.
