MOH’s Religious Awareness Department Pays 196.180 Visits to Inpatients at the MOH Facilities

The Religious Awareness Department at the Ministry of Health (MOH) has paid 196.180 visits to inpatients at the MOH health facilities during 1435 H.
 
The Director of Religious Awareness, Mr. Ali bin Suleiman Al-Jamhan, has pointed out that the Department has delivered 49.673 boxes of “Tayammum” (clean sand or earth to be used instead of ablution when or where water is unavailable) to those patients who cannot use water due to their health conditions. “The Department has also handed over 35.139 copies of the Holy Quran and the interpretation of its meaning in various languages to both of patients and employees at the MOH facilities,” said Mr. Al-Jamhan.
 
He added that these activities come within the framework of the prudent directives of our rulers, May Allah protect them; aiming at providing all means and potentials that serve patients, alleviate their sufferings and meet their health needs all over the health sectors in our beloved Kingdom.
 
“The Department, through its branches over the health affairs general directorates in the Kingdom’s regions and governorates, has delivered 650.461 Arabic brochures, 123.821 brochures in other languages, 162.842 audio materials, 2.838 general lectures, 90.632 gifts, and 3.480 book-stands in patient rooms and waiting areas at the health facilities,” mentioned Dr. Al-Jamhan, adding that the Department has organized 102 awareness exhibitions at its branches all over the Kingdom’s regions and governorates.
 
Furthermore, he highlighted that these activities are carried out within the framework of the Department’s vision, which focuses on providing the religious awareness at all health facilities throughout the Kingdom’s regions and governorates, and in line with its message as an educational and awareness department. It seeks to serve patients, visitors and employees enthusiastically and creatively.
 
Finally, Mr. Al-Jamhan has indicated that strategies and plans have been developed through several means and approaches; with a view to implementing them at the department’s branches in health affairs general directorates throughout the Kingdom’s regions and governorates, and at the religious awareness offices in its affiliated health facilities.
