The Minister of Health Checks on the Health Status of Pilgrims in Arafat

His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, has checked on the health status of the pilgrims. He conveyed to a number of patients the message of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - May Allah bless him.
 
In this message, King Abdullah emphasized that the Saudi government exerts its utmost efforts to provide the best health services for patients in order to ensure their safety; that is to be added to listening to their comments and complaints, and seeking to solve them. The minister urged the medical and technical teams to receive patients warmly and provide high-quality medical services for them.
 
It is worth mentioning that the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, had made an inspection tour to the Jabal Ar-Rahmah Hospital to check the workflow in these hospitals, inspect the services rendered to pilgrims, and make sure that these facilities are ready to provide the best healthcare services for patients.
 
 Eng. Faqih has started the inspection tour by visiting the departments of the hospital, checked the workflow and services provided for pilgrims. In addition, His Excellency had a look over the workflow in the intensive care departments at the hospital and met with a number of pilgrims who thanked him for the health services provided for them.
 
Within the same context, MOH hospitals and health centers continue providing their services for pilgrims, receiving the emergency cases and providing them with the needed treatment.
 
In this regard, the health centers and hospitals of Arafat has received, since the middle of the Arafah Day midnight and up to 6:00 PM on the same day 39 cases of exhaustion. The visitors of the health centers amounted to 24292 cases, while the visitors of the outpatient clinics amounted to 9929 cases. The number of cases received in the emergency departments amounted to 2084 patients, while the patients admitted to Arafat hospitals amounted to 562 patients.
 
In addition, 2 dialysis sessions were conducted, while the number of open-heart surgeries conducted in Makkah, the Holy Sites and Madinah amounted to 8 operations, as well as 176 cardiac catheterizations.
