70721 Diseased Pilgrims Visited the Health Facilities in Makkah and Madinah

The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that 70721 diseased pilgrims visited the health facilities in the Holy Capital (Makkah) and Madinah over the last four days: 4, 5, 6, and 7/12/1435H. The hospitals delivered their therapeutic services for 22011 patients, while 48710 pilgrims benefited from the primary healthcare in the health centers during this period.
 
The Ministry of Health announced that its health facilities in the Makkah, Madinah and the Holy Sites conducted on Wednesday (7/12/1435H) 7 cardiac catheterizations, 121 dialysis sessions and 7 endoscopic operations. Thus, the total number of the operations during the last four days only amounted to 82 cardiac catheterizations, 349 dialysis sessions, 23 endoscopic operations and 5 open-heart surgeries.
 
This comes as part of the advanced health services and the quality programs introduced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to save patients' lives with its advanced program meant to provide healthcare for the pilgrims.
 
Meanwhile, the daily statement issued by the MOH indicated that the outpatient clinics in the hospital provided their services for 15751 patients, while 6260 patients benefited from the ambulatory services, 424 were admitted to the health facilities of Makkah and Madinah during these days. In the same time, 368 patients have been discharged from the hospitals, bringing the number of the inpatients in the MOH Health facilities till yesterday, Wednesday, to 355 cases.
