MOH: ‘(Amzylite) Is not a Real Cure for Diabetes’
09 September 2014
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to debunk the claims rumored on social media regarding the discovery of a drug, called (Amzylite), available in a pharmacy in Taif, KSA, purportedly offering complete, final cure for diabetes.
Within the same vein, the Ministry has pointed out that a joint committee has been formed of several bodies; to verify that information. Subsequently, the committee has visited the site referred to on the social networks, and proved the information is inaccurate, and that no drugs are put up for sale at the center in question.
Based on the above, the Ministry has declared that there is no final cure for diabetes, called (Amzylite).
Finally, the Ministry has called upon all people not to be misled by such false, scientifically unfounded medical claims, meant for nothing but to entice patients, and exploit their dire need for treatment. To conclude, the Ministry has underscored the importance of getting the proper information from the reliable scientific sources.
