Dr. Alhowasi Lauds King Abdullah's Directive to Support Palestinian Ministry of Health
05 August 2014
His Excellency the Vice Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Alhowasi, has underlined that the exhaustive speech which the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, May Allah protect him, delivered to the Arab and Islamic nations is reckoned a platform for action and a shining beacon amidst the circumstances the world is currently undergoing.

He pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has analyzed status of those deviants and the extremism they perpetuate in the name of Islam, while Islam is innocent of their bad deeds. “By so doing,” he said, “they are tarnishing the real image of Islam and Muslims, killing the soul whom Allah has forbidden killing, and proud to promulgate their notorious actions of killing and mutilation.”

Dr. Alhowasi explained that the speech shows passion and ardency of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques towards Islam. He, May Allah support him, cited the true Koranic verses, and addressed the leaders and scholars (ulama) of the Islamic world to take over their responsibility towards the truth, and to staunchly stand in the face of those who want to hijack Islam and present it to the world as a religion of extremism, hatred and terrorism.

He lauded the concern shown by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and his realization of the extremism facing Arab and Islamic countries under the guise of Islam. In this spirit, ten years ago, he called for establishing an international center for fighting terrorism, which received the support of the world with the aim of optimal coordination between the countries in this regard.
Within the same vein, Alhowasi has also lauded keenness of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, to warn that those who have failed (or do fail) to carry out their historic responsibilities against terrorism for instantaneous interest or dubious plots will be its first victims.

Dr. Alhowasi also commended the King's speech on the current events in Palestine, and his denunciation and condemnation of bloodshed there, describing such incidents as war crimes against humanity that are committed without any human or moral scruples.

It did not escape Dr. Alhowasi's notice to applaud the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide the Palestinian Ministry of Health with SR 1 million to meet the shortage of medicines and urgent medical supplies, which comes as an extension to the SR 200 million aid previously provided for the Palestinian Red Crescent Authority.
