MOH Announces the Imminent Arrival of World Specialized Companies to Discuss Manufacturing Anti- MERS CoV Vaccine

The Ministry of Health's (MOH) official spokesman, Dr. Khaled Almarghlani revealed that one of the world, specialized companies is soon to arrive in the Kingdom, in order to consider manufacturing an anti-CoV. vaccine and enhance the efforts underway. To that effect, researches are underway with the aim of finding an effective treatment for the virus.    
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Almarghlani added that at the beginning of the current week, the members of the National Scientific Committee for Infectious Diseases and the Scientific Committee for Infection Control will intensify holding their meetings on a regular basis to discuss the latest on   the Middle East respiratory syndrome Coronavirus (MERS CoV) situation and to revise the examination results of the virus genes, previously sent to laboratories outside the Kingdom to have them analyzed and compared to what was isolated before. 
 
Meanwhile, Dr. Almarghlani made clear that the MOH called the World Health Organization (WHO), a host of experts from Europe, Canada, the United States of America (USA), East Asia states, Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) states, and other states to convene at the end of this month; to discuss the MERS CoV,   and the latest on the virus. This comes as part of the consultations made by the MOH with the aim of intensifying the efforts meant for fighting this virus and holding back its spread. He further drew attention to the fact that the MOH previously called experts from the WHO and infection control centers in both the USA and Europe, and other experts from the GCC's states for the same end, and it is still in an ongoing communication on the lookout for any breakthrough in that field.
