Dr. Al Rabeeah: Iraqi Twins' Health Condition Is Stable, Vital Functions Works Naturally

After 48 hours of the separation operation conducted to the Iraqi Siamese twins, Christian and Kriss, who were transferredto the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and underwent the necessary separation operation upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, his Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah and head of the medical and surgical team briefed that their condition is fully stable, May Allah be praised, and all the vital functions work in a normal way. It took place on the past Thursday, Jumada al Thani 10, 1435H, at the King Abdulaziz Medical City National Guard Health Affairs in Riyadh.
 
He went on to add that the twins come around from the effect of the anestheticand respond naturally to their parents. It is expected that they are normally breastfed within the next two days, Allah willing. Meanwhile, their parents extended the deepest thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, for the kind paternal gesture which mirrors what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys in terms of philanthropy, support to the Arab and Islamic states, and humanitarianservices for the entire world's states.
Within the same vein, the twins' father made clear that although some organizations offered him to fly to one of the developed western states to conduct the operation, he chose the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over it thanks to its great, long, and distinctive experience in this field worldwide.
 
It is worth mentioning that this operation is numbered 23 in the Siamese twins' operation list. May Allah be praised, it was conducted within seven hours and it went through six stages.
