Under the auspices of the Advisor of the Department and Supervisor General of the Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr. Saad Al-Hujeily, the Budget General Department at the Ministry of health (MOH) has organized a workshop under the title: “Preparation of the Draft Budget Using the Computer”.
The Director General of the Budget, Mr. Riad Al-Khalifah, has underscored the necessity of abiding by the payment instructions for the current fiscal year 1435/1436H. He also emphasized that the new projects being included in the region’s projects must be in line with the approved standard rates for those projects, aside from the National Project for Inclusive and Integrated Health Care. Besides, Mr. Al-Hujiely has underlined the importance of adhering to the deadline for submitting the project.
He went on adding that this workshop comes within the framework of the keenness of the Administrative and Financial Affairs General Department to upgrade the work methods at the budget departments, as well as training the directors of the budget all over the Kingdom’s health regions, governorates, medical cities and specialized hospitals on the “Budget System”.
Within the same vein, Mr. Riad has pointed out that the preparation of the proposed MOH budget draft for the coming fiscal year 1436/1437H will be prepared, Allah willing, through this system, as was the case last year. Moreover, he has highlighted the principal role entrusted to the directors of the budget, with regard to the preparation of the project or following up the expenditure.
It didn’t escape Al-Khalifah’s notice to extend his thanks and appreciation to all participants in this workshop; for all their strenuous efforts exerted in the preparation of the last year's draft budgets for the Kingdom’s health regions and governorates, automatically via the “Budget System”.
