Dr. Al-Sayegh Urges the Health Professionals to Benefit from “UpToDate” Service

The Secretary General of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS), Dr. Abdulaziz bin Hassan Al-Sayegh, has lauded the strenuous efforts carried out by the Ministry of Health (MOH), under the wise leadership of its Minister, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, to promote the performance level of the health professionals and those working in the health sector. Dr. Al-Sayegh highlighted that all MOH efforts are exerted with the aim to provide distinctive health services to the citizens, such as the provision of the “UpToDate” service for the health practitioner. This special service helps practitioners keep in touch with the latest medical informatics and clinical applications that are available in the forms of medical recommendations, topics and information, as well as evidence-based charts.
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Sayegh has urged all health professionals and those working in the health sector to benefit from this valuable free service, launched the day before yesterday by the Minister. Besides, Dr. Al-Sayegh has underlined that this event reflects the MOH keenness to promote the performance level of all health professionals, as well as providing them with all means to hone their skills and practical expertise, meanwhile wishing that this website will be a good supporter for them in achieving the desired purpose.
 
Finally, Dr. Al-Sayegh has underscored the importance of the vital information included in this new service, noting that it will support the health practitioner to enrich his knowledge and potentials in his specialty, meanwhile the period spent in reviewing the website will be accredited for him as continuing medical education (CME) hours.
