MOH Information Center to Host Two Consultants in Hematology and Oncology Tomorrow

As part of the events carried out by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and its participation in the World Cancer Day, the National Center for Information, Media and Health Awareness, will host on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, a number of physicians and specialists, to answer all callers’ queries and provide them with medical tips and guidelines; in an endeavor to provide people with the correct health information about cancer in general.
 
The Center assigned times to receive citizens’ calls. As for the morning period, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., it will be assigned for the Center’s female specialists. While during the afternoon period, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Center will host physicians and consultants, including Dr. Saud Abu Harbash, a Consultant in Hematology and Oncology, who will be a guest on Tuesday 4th  February, 2014 ( corresponding to 4th Rabee‘ Al-Akher, 1435H). Besides, the Center will host Dr. Ali Al-Shanqeeti, a Consultant in Hematology and Oncology and senior researcher in cancers, on Wednesday, 5th February, 2014 ( corresponding to 5th Rabee‘ Al-Akher, 1435H).
 
Within the same vein, the Center will answer during the abovementioned times, via its toll free number: 8002494444, and the MOH account on Twitter: @SAUDIMOH; all queries about cancer, methods of prevention, methods of early detection for treatment, the easiest way to get other health services, and the refutation of the most important misconceptions among the public about cancer, its causes and treatment.
Furthermore, the Center highlighted that a group of its female pharmacists and specialists will be assigned to receive during the official work hours, via the above-mentioned contact channels, the callers’ questions and queries about all health topics.
