MOH Fines some Private Health Installations SR 105.000

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has approved the decisions of the Private Health Institutions' Violations Consideration Committees located at some of the Kingdom’s Health Affairs Directorates, finning a number of private health installations SR 105.000; due to their non-compliance with the Health Profession Practice Law and its Regulations.
 
The MOH has approved the decision of the Private Health Institutions' Violations Consideration Committee at Jazan Health Affairs Directorate, fining a pharmacy SR 15.000; due to working without licenses, as well as the unavailability of the pharmacy’s name on its front, and allocation of a corner inside the pharmacy for the pharmacist’s dwelling, thus violating the health regulations.
 
Within the same vein, the MOH has approved the decision of the above-mentioned committee in Jeddah, fining a pharmacy SR 35.000; due to finding some expired medicines there and the pharmacist's working without a statutory license.
 
Furthermore, the MOH has approved the decision of the aforementioned committee in Riyadh, fining a pharmacy SR 35.000; due to finding pharmaceutical products without an expiry date, and some creams unregistered by the Ministry of Health. 
 
Over and above, the MOH has approved the decision of the above-mentioned committee in Riyadh, fining a medical warehouse SR 20.000; due to the expiry of its manager’s license and storing products in places other than shelves.
The MOH has emphasized that it would take all the statutory procedures, including the cautionary closure, towards any health institution that does not comply with the required quality standards of health services; in an endeavor to oblige such institutions to improve their conditions and redress all irregularities observed there, pursuant to the statutory procedures.
