Dr. Al-Rabeeah Fines a Doctor in Hail and a Health Center's Director in Qassim

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has approved the decision of the Hail-based Medical Irregularities Committee that fined a doctor at a Ministry of Health’s (MOH) hospital SR 5,000 pursuant to the Health Profession Practice Law; due to his negligence as he failed to conduct the required tests and gave wrong solutions to one of the cases, violating the treatment mechanisms applied in the hospital. 
 
Moreover, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has approved the decision of the Committee, assigned to consider the violations of the Health Profession Practice Law in Qassim, that imposed a financial fine of SR 3,000 on one of MOH health practitioners (a Director at a health center in Qassim); for violating the Health Profession Practice Law; as he signed a medical report before its completion and before the treating doctor’s signature. The decision, also, included the assignment of the Internal Control and Audit General Department to follow up the performance and ensure the full compliance of such practices.
 
These decisions reflect MOH's continual efforts to improve the quality of its health facilities and monitor the performance of its employees in an endeavor to ensure that the staffers at healthcare facilities are working in accordance with the regulations and procedures.
