MOH Wins the Gulf Excellence Award in Awareness Posters and E-Business

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Health (MOH), has won the first place in Gulf Excellence Award in the field of health media (awareness posters branch), and the first place in the e-business, aside from the third place in  the TV awareness messages. This contest is organized by the GCC Council of Health Ministers in four domains: press, awareness publications, radio and TV awareness messages, and e-business.
 
Within the same vein, the Adviser to the Minister of Health and Supervisor General of the Media, Relations and Health Awareness General Department, Dr. Khaled Marghalani, has extended his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, for his great support to the MOH Media Center; the matter which contributed to the preparation and production of the awareness programs, in line with the MOH trends towards activating the awareness-raising activities, and promoting the health awareness amid all society members. The Arbitration Committee of the Award has reviewed 73 out of 111 participations that have been submitted, while the other 38 participations were excluded.
 
It is worth mentioning that this contest aims at promoting the spirit of innovation and creativity among employees and those interested in health awareness and health media at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as well as encouraging the innovators to contribute to the health promotion and disease prevention, by affecting individuals and society groups and directing them to adopt the proper healthy behaviors. In addition, the contest aims at attracting the governmental media institutions, reinforcing the partnership with the private media institutions, supporting the outstanding efforts aimed at the development of health awareness programs at the level of the GCC countries, improving and honing skills of workers in the health awareness domain, highlighting the pioneering efforts and dynamic initiatives among individuals and institutions working in the health awareness domain; in order to promote the health of GCC citizens. The contest, besides, aims at contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of health plans all over the GCC countries, promoting the Gulf cadres for creativity and excellence, meanwhile considering the talent and distinctive competencies in the field of health media, as well as increasing the spirit of competition among workers in the health awareness media, and providing a scientific database that brings together health information materials.
