Dr. Khoshaim Presides over the Meeting of MOH Preparatory Hajj Committees

Within the framework of the early preparations of the Ministry of Health (MOH) for the coming Hajj season, His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development, and Head of the MOH Preparatory Hajj Committee, has presided over the second meeting of MOH Hajj Committees today afternoon, with the presence of the Committees Board members, including the Deputies and Directors-General, as well as the Directors of Makkah and Madinah Health Affairs General Directorates.
 
Dr. Khoshaim has pointed out that the meeting comes at the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, to begin the preparatory meetings early in preparation for the coming Hajj season in 1435 H. Therefore, the first meeting was held in Mina Last year, and discussed the advantages and challenges of the past Hajj season.
 
Dr. Khoshaim went on adding that the second meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda, whereby all projects, medical and non-medical supplies and equipment, as well as the replacement and formation of committees in Makkah, Madina and the Holy sites, have been approved. Furthermore, the meeting discussed the importance of submitting all Hajj reports and plans by the advent of the coming Hajj season within an appropriate period, in addition to the approval of developing the Numeration or Statistics program, and to be fully linked with the Holy Sites in Makkah and Madinah.
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Khoshaim underscored that the meeting reviewed some of the requirements presented by the Hajj Committees Board, and discussed the submitted suggestions; in an endeavor to promote the assignments of the committees and avoid the shortcomings that may face them during the coming Hajj seasons, as well as providing best health care for pilgrims, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide all ways and the proper health and safe environment for pilgrims to perform their rituals easily and conveniently.
 
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Al-Rabeeah issued a decision last week to form the MOH Preparatory Committees in Makkah and Madinah Regions. The assignments of preparation, planning and supervision on Hajj health services have been divided into three main phases, under the chairmanship of the Minister of health.The Hajj preparatory committees are headed by the Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Dr. Muhammad Hamza Khoshaim, with the membership of a number of Deputies and Directors-General; proceeding from the necessary distribution of tasks, phases, and heads of sectors and committees during the preparation, implementation, follow-up and field supervision on the Hajj services between the MOH central departments and Makkah and Madinah Regions.
