The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced the second transfer movement amid its employees in accordance with the new mechanism that was recently approved at MOH and its health sectors. The transfer right has been given to general managers and directors of health affairs in regions and governorates; in order to provide more flexibility in making decisions related to MOH employees.
It is noteworthy that a number of 850 employees have been transferred all over health regions and governorates as part of the second approved transfer movement. Furthermore, the MOH announced that the transfer movement of MOH male and female employees are carried out twice a year, whether inside regions or governorates or from/to health affairs general directorates in regions and governorates.
MOH went on adding that the first transfer movement extends from 1/5 to 30/5, while the second one is from 1/11 to 30/11 a year.
This step comes within the framework of MOH's keenness to achieve the principle of justice among its employees, who wish to be transferred within regions or to health affairs general directorates. The transfer movement is carried out based on clear mechanisms and criteria after it is approved by His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah and circulated to health directorates to work accordingly after meeting all statutory transfer requirements, in a manner that achieves the principles of justice and equality among MOH employees and its health sectors.
Within the same vein, MOH has pointed out that the directorates have been given orders to update their employees’ data in Personnel Affairs System; in an endeavor to ensure fairness when transferring employees and meeting their wishes as much as possible. Also, separate criteria have been developed for people with disabilities. Moreover, proceeding from MOH's keenness to make sure that the transfer mechanisms and criteria are applied, a committee was formed in all health directorates to consider the transfer applications according to the approved mechanism and criteria.
