Qatar Congratulates the MOH on the Success of this Year's Hajj Season

During its speech before the delegations of the health ministers, members of theOrganization of Islamic Cooperation, Qatar extended its congratulations on the success of this year's Hajj season. It also expressed its thanks and gratitude to the strenuous efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah protect him, in service of the Hajj performers.

 

Dr. Salah bin Ali Almri, the Head of Qatar's delegation, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Health, during his speech at the meetings of the 4th session of the Islamic conference of the health ministers, being held in Jakarta, Dhu al-Hijjah 17-19, remarked that "we highly commend and appreciate the great efforts made by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in service of the Hajj performers. He also congratulated the Saudi Arabia and its health minister on the success of the Hajj season and its safety in terms of the epidemic and quarantine diseases."

 

It is noteworthy that theOrganization of Islamic Cooperation is the second biggest governmental-international organization next to the Unites Nations (UN), and its membership includes fifty-seven member states, distributed to four continents.

 

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health (MOH) provided, in this year's Hajj, a system of health facilities comprising of 25 hospitals with 5250-bed capacity, with 500 intensive care bedsincluded. It is added in 140 health centers and 175 ambulances. It also delivered field medicine vehicles; mobile intensive care rooms providing the medical services for the Hajj performers among the human gatherings. It also called a Mass Gathering Medicine world conference, whose recommendations stressed on the health requirements set by the Saudi Arabia's Government. They were distributed to the Islamic and friendly states, and its application was emphasized in 16 land, sea, and air ports.
