A Medical Convoy Transports 23 Patient Pilgrims from Madinah to Mount Arafat

Arafat General Hospital has received on Saturday afternoon 7/12/1434H (corresponding to 12/10/2013) a medical convoy carrying the hospitalized pilgrims, who were transferred from Madinah hospitals to Mount Arafat to complete the Hajj rites, as adopted by the Ministry of Health (MOH) annually.
 
The number of patients carried into the Holy Sites reaches 23 patients, who were transported by the ambulances of the Ministry of Health along with their medical cadres, including a physician and nurse for each patient. Besides, all medical supplies and medicines needed by those pilgrims were provided as well, given that the convoy was driven under the supervision of the Director of Emergency and Crisis Department at Madinah Health Affairs Directorate, Dr. Hani Fayyad.
 
For his part, the Director of Arafat General Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Kharroubi, pointed out that the patients, who were transferred from Madinah hospitals, have been hospitalized at the hospitalization departments in Arafat General Hospital, adding the 6 cases were hospitalized in men's internal medicine section, as well as 4 cases in women's internal medicine section, and 6 cases in women's surgery section, while 7 cases were admitted to intensive care units.
