Minister of Health Conducts an Inspection Tour on Health Facilities in Medina

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has had a closer look at the workflow and health services provided in the health facilities created by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Medina to serve pilgrims and visitors of the Holy Prophetic Mosque.
 
This came during the inspection tour conducted by Dr. Al-Rabeeah on the health facilities in Medina, where he has been briefed on the efforts being exerted to provide the health care to the pilgrims around the clock.
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has checked the readiness of health centers in the central area around the Holy Prophetic Mosque, including the following centers: (Bab Jebriel, Al-Safeyah, Bab Al-Salaam, and Bab Al-Majeedi).
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has conducted an inspection visit on the health center of Plaza Hall No. 2, which was launched recently, to be as a subordinate to Health Observation Centre at Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz Airport (PMAA) in Madinah and other six points; where they are providing curative and preventive services for pilgrims and visitors arriving by air. Moreover, during the tour, Dr. Al-Rabeeah visited Al-Ansar Hospital, and has been briefed on the services provided by the hospital, meanwhile, he met and listened to a number of patients and visitors, and reassured on the health services provided to them.
 
Furthermore, The Minister of Health also conducted an inspection visit on Sunday morning to King Fahd Hospital (KFH) in Medina, and inaugurated the new kitchen, which provides 1700 to 2000 meals per day. Over and above, He checked the workflow in the Miqat Hospital Project with a total capacity of 300 beds, and urged the supervisors of the project to do their best to finish construction as soon as possible. Dr. Al-Rabeeah also inspected the workflow in the Specialty Hospital of500-bed capacity. His Excellency was accompanied by a number of MOH senior officials, Heads of Preparatory Hajj Committees,  and the Director General of Madina Health Affairs.
 
It is worth mentioning that MOH created 9 hospitals and 15 health centers, for this year’s Hajj season in Medina; to serve the pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque, in addition to providing specialized health services such as: cardiac catheterization and open-heart surgery, which is taking place at Medina Cardiac Center (MCC).
