In reference to the claims that the female citizen 'Najla' did not receive the required medical care, Madinah Health Affairs Directorate would like to clarify the following:
- Diagnosis and all required examinations have been done to the patient in the regional hospitals.
- Then, she has been converted to King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) in Riyadh.
- A Royal Decree has recently been issued to treat her in Germany. Therefore, Madinah Health Affairs Directorate has sent her medical reports to the Supreme Medical Commission, which in turn contacted with the specialized centers in Germany. Till now, the Commission is awaiting one of these centers to accept her condition and determine an appointment for her.
On concluding its statement, the Directorate has pointed out that the citizen 'Najla' is an administrative employee at Madinah Health Affairs Directorate, and she is still in office. The Directorate also refuted the claims that Najla was prevented from receiving her salary as well as the claims of dismissal.
