The Ministry of Health has approved the verdict of a Jeddah based Irregularities Committee for Practicing Healthcare that fine a Saudi Doctor SR (100.000) for possessing medical instruments in his apartment, and practicing the profession unlicensed. His actions breach article (28/5) of Practicing Healthcare Regulations that stipulate: (without prejudice to any penalties stipulated in other laws; Anyone caught illegally in possession of apparatus that are usually used in health professions, without legitimate reason, will be imprisoned for no more than six months, and/or fined SR (100.000).
