King Abdullah Approves the Name: (King Abdullah Medical Complex in Tabuk) for Health Facilities

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin  Abdulaziz, May Allah save him, has approved giving the name: (King Abdullah Medical Complex in Tabuk) to a number of health projects that will be completed in Tabuk Region with a capacity of (1000) beds. The medical complex comprises King Fahad Hospital (a 500-bed capacity hospital), a 200-bed capacity Maternity and Children Hospital, a 200-bed capacity Mental Health and Addiction Treatment hospital, a Dental Specialist Centre, a Diabetes Centre, a Regional Laboratory, a Blood Bank, a Poison Centre, and a 100-bed capacity Heart Centre.
 
That was announced by His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz Al Rabeeah, who expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may Allah save him- for his continuous support and patronage of health services providing health care for citizens in all Kingdom’s regions and provinces.
 
His Excellency added that this complex is deemed to be an essential addition to MoH health facilities in Tabuk Region contributing to supporting such facilities to meet the needs of citizens in the region.
 
Moreover, Dr. Al Rabeeah pointed out that the Ministry is exerting its utmost efforts to invest the support of the government; which is reflected positively in the performance level of MoH’s health facilities within the framework of the National Project for Integrated and Comprehensive Healthcare, aiming at achieving the principles of justice, inclusiveness, equity and accessibility in distributing health services. The Minister affirmed the Ministry’s willingness to serve patients, attain their satisfaction, and maintain their safety, thus putting into action the MOH slogan ‘‘Patient First’’.
 
It is noteworthy that Tabuk Health Affairs has served (2.154.411) patients last year. (15262) surgeries were operated in Tabuk hospitals, (53529) patients were hospitalized, (435913) outpatient visitors, (1.646.187) primary health care visitors. As for Home Medicine Program, (1061) patients were served. The number of visiting physicians has reached (113). The number of one day surgeries was (2469).
