Dr. Al-Howasi: the 8th Allegiance Pledge Anniversary to King Abdullah Deserves our Pride and Appreciation

His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour Al-Howasi, said, “The 8th allegiance pledge anniversary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, deserves our pride and appreciation, as it’s considered a valuable and honorable occasion for all Saudis towards a king devoting all his time for the service of the religion of Islam, the Kingdom, and Saudis.
 
Dr. Howasi said, “Prosperity and progress witnessed in the Kingdom are to be attributed to the blessings of Almighty Allah firstly, and then to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, May Allah save him,” adding that such prosperity and progress are deemed as an extension for the continuous improvement march that began with the unification of the Kingdom under the leadership of the founder King Abdulaziz, May Allah forgive him, and up till this prosperous reign that witnessed a developmental leap in all fields, namely, the political, social, educational, economical, healthy, and cultural fields, all over the Kingdom.
 
Then, Dr. Howasi pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince, and His Excellency Second Deputy Prime Minister, May Allah save them all, have exerted remarkable efforts and unlimited support for all sections of people, with the aim of establishing the bases of sustainable development including the sectors of health, education, social development and development of infrastructure. In addition, they endeavor to improve the conditions of the Saudi citizens and provide job opportunities for them. That's to be added to confirming the importance of achieving balanced development between sectors and regions.
 
His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health has lauded the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques towards the health sector, mentioning, “All of us are aware of the fact that the health of citizens takes the highest priority of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and attracts his complete interest as part of his unlimited support and heed for such vital sector, with the aim of providing the best healthcare services for the honored citizens, and fulfilling the their health needs. For that reason, this important sector has received much more interest, affecting greatly the development of preventive, curative and rehabilitative health services rendered for citizens, residents, pilgrims and Umrah performers.
 
Dr. Al-Howasi pointed out that the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques have contributed to removal of a wide range of obstacles that were standing in the way of developing infrastructure all over the sectors in the Kingdom, accelerating the process of establishing service projects, institutions and facilities in all their kinds including the MOH facilities and different institutions, as well as all other aspects resulting in development of country and citizen under such cohesion and harmony which the people of this country enjoy among themselves and with the wise leadership.
 
Then, His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health mentioned that the integrated and comprehensive healthcare national project is considered the mainstay for the strategic plan. Besides, the directives of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques were centered on such a project, as manifested in achieving justice and comprehensiveness by distributing health services and facilities fairly and scientifically to all the Kingdom's regions and principalities. For that reason, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has assumed responsibility to develop the level of healthcare to its utmost level, with the aim of achieving the aspirations of the rules of our beloved country, fulfilling the wishes of citizens through providing the health services for patients, and winning their satisfaction.
 
In the same vein, the MOH has put forward a strategic plan for the next 10 years; given that, the MOH wants to activate mechanisms and programs of such a plan as soon as possible.
It's worth mentioning that such a plan has identified the responsibilities of each sector in the Ministry to achieve its own mechanism.
 
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Howasi was quoted as saying, “we ask the help of Almighty Allah to save the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Crown Prince, and His Excellency Second Deputy Prime Minister, perpetuate the boon of peace, stability, and prosperity under such wise leadership, and enable us to achieve the aspirations of our rules, May Allah listen and respond.”
