Dr. Al Ghamdi: “Janadriyah is a Saudi Interface Featuring Intellectual and Cultural Cohesion That Connects the Present to the Past”

The Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for Hospital Affairs, Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, confirmed that the National Festival for Heritage and Culture (Janadriyah) is considered a Saudi interface that underscores the intellectual and cultural cohesion connecting the present to the past annually. Janadriyah is proudly organized annually in its 28th round.
 
In the meantime, Dr. Al-Ghamdi added that the festival represents an international concourse for civilization and culture which gained a great significance internationally; under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may Allah save him, every year, and in the presence of a large number of Arab and foreign visitors. Such diverse nationalities of visitors have resulted in the variation of the social, cultural, heritage, artistic and literary events and activities of Janadriyah; with the participation of all the Kingdom’s regions and a number of ministries, as well as public, social and cultural sectors. One of those sectors is the Ministry of Health; which has been always showing keen interest in participating in this national and international event due to its momentous significance.
 
Furthermore, he hoped that such participation would receive the aspired success; as it serves the purpose of the success of all festival activities, which hosts national and international participations. MOH’s participation is to activate the Ministry’s role played in every national event. He went on indicating that they are keen on executing the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz Al-Rabeeah on MoH health facilities participating actively in (Janadriyah 28) to highlight the national achievements of MoH. In addition, MoH role in Janadriyah is to raise health awareness of the society through field clinics as well as the accompanying activities by launching many educational campaigns in the MoH Pavilion targeting all categories of the society and visitors of Janadriyah. That is for the purpose of raising the level of their awareness including many activities in the campaigns, as well as distributing health-related booklets and educational publications.
 
MoH is constantly keen on presenting preventative, curative and health-promoting programs. Dr. Al-Ghamdi expressed his delight with the progress that the MoH’s Pavilion witnesses year by year to keep up with the advancement of health services.
 
Dr. Al-Ghamdi concluded his statement by confirming that MoH participation this year in Janadriyah is a reflection of the comprehensive, progressive advancement and a quantum leap in all services and facilities to serve patients and insure their safety; in order to achieve the slogan: “Patients First”.
