Within the framework of the Summer Health Awareness Program, presented by the MOH Media Information and Health Awareness Center, the center continues to interview a constellation of the renowned physicians and specialists. Tomorrow, June 3rd, 2012, the center will have Dr. Safeyyah Al-Sherbini, an endocrinologist and a diabetes consultant. Dr. Al-Sherbini will shed light on diabetes, categorized as one of the diseases of the age. She will provide tips on how to control the level of blood sugar, the necessary exercise, hypoglycemic tablets or insulin. She is expected, also, to underscore the importance of seeing the doctor regularly to prescribe the necessary dose, as well as undergoing comprehensive medical examination.
Besides, Dr. Al-Sherbini will explain the regular and acceptable level of blood sugar (before and after eating), and the necessary physical practice. She will talk also about the significant symptoms of diabetes, as well as the symptoms of low-blood-sugar.
