Dr. Al-Rabeeah Inspects Workflow at Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Hospital in Riyadh

   His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, accompanied by a number of the MOH officials, made an inspection tour, the day before yesterday, to Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Hospital, located in the south of Riyadh, where he got reassured about the Hospital's workflow, and what has been accomplished to date.
 
Dr. Al-Rabeeah gave his directions to quickly supply the hospital with the medical and non-medical equipment, costing SR 90 million. The Ministry of Health (MOH) has allocated a sum of SR 40 million in this year's budget to the automation of the hospital. Besides, the Ministry has ratified the hospital's maintenance, cleanliness and nutrition contracts.
 
It is worth mentioning that Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Hospital, the construction of which has been recently accomplished, occupies an area of 250.000 square meters, out of which the building is based on an area of 21.000 square meters. The three-storey hospital includes 200 beds, 7 operation rooms, as well as quarantine rooms, and a hemodialysis section accommodating 14 beds. The hospital encompasses, also, 56 intensive care beds, and 44 Phantom Beds dedicated for one-day surgeries.
 
It is projected that the hospital will be opened at the end of this year, to provide its services for citizens in South Riyadh. It should be noted, in this regard, that His Excellency the Minister of Health has recently designated Dr. Atiq bin Mohammed Al-Qarni as the director of Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Hospital, given he is one of the eminent competencies in this domain.
