Clarification by the Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health has clarified that, proceeding from its commitment to the enforcement of the Royal Decree No. A / 121, dated 4 June 2011, to employ Health Diploma holders, stipulating that 4000 graduates, of both genders, will be recruited in the Ministry, the MOH has issued a decree to employ the first batch (935 Health Diploma holders). This is in accordance with the differentiation conducted by the Ministry of Civil Service. Moreover, the nomination of the other batches is currently underway and will be announced during the next few weeks.
 
The MOH stated that, over the last few days, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz AL Rabeeah, received a number of Health Diploma holders, who will be employed in the health sector. His Excellency has listened to their demands and complaints, mainly centered on their aspiration to work in the governmental sector, stressing that the Ministry of Health is keen to designate its share of new employees, assigned by the Ministry of Civil Service, in accordance with a Royal Decree.
 
The MOH is also keen to saudize employment, in coordination with the Ministry of Civil Service that informs the MOH of the job vacancies to nominate qualified Saudi candidates. In effect, the Ministry has achieved significant progress in the process of employment Saudization, reaching nearly 100% in the category of technical jobs for males in the following specialties: medical secretary, dental technician, radiologic technologist, prosthetic technician, optical technician, anesthesia technician, installations technician, dietetic technician, nursing technician, medical records technician, respiratory technician, physical therapy technician, speech and hearing technicians, operations technicians, laboratory technician, pharmacist assistant, dental assistant, director of primary health care center, assistant director of hospitals, ambulance technician, medical equipment technician, epidemiology inspector.
