Al-Mazrou: The Kingdom Lost an Eminent Pioneer of its Modern Advancement
25 October 2011

Dr. Salah Al-Mazrou', Advisor to the Minister of Health and Supervisor-General of Medical Supply and Equipment, said: “With the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia lost one of its eminent pioneers and builders of the modern advancement. He was a man of unique virtue, known for his wisdom, prudence and statesmanship, who devoted his rich life for the support of all that is right, benevolent and peaceful, in addition to serving his religion, his country, his people, and the Arab and Islamic nation, and humanity at large.”

Al-Mazrou' went on to say that: “Prince Sultan – May Allah bless his soul – has always committed himself and his unending humanitarian efforts to providing medicament for patients, dispatching medical evacuation aircrafts for the purpose of transmitting the sick and the injured to the advanced hospitals and health centers (whether within or without the Kingdom), as well as providing financial assistance from his own account for those in need.”

History, Al-Mazrou' affirmed, will never forget the late Prince's paramount achievements, which will be curved, with pride and honor, into the memory of history. Nor will the people of this beloved country forget his generosity, closeness to people, and, above all, his charming smile.”
On this occasion, Al-Mazrou' extended his condolence to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy of Prime Minister, and Minister of Interior, as well as the Royal Family and the entire Saudi people, on the death of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

In conclusion, Al-Mazrou' prayed for Allah to confer His mercy and blessings on the deceased Crown Prince, accept him in His Paradise, and grant us patience and fortitude.
