MOH Medical Clinics Continue Providing Health Awareness Services for Janadriyah Visitors

The Ministry of Health (MOH) affiliate specialized medical clinics, participating in Janadriyah Village, continue attracting dozens of visitors, and providing them with education and awareness activities. By the end of last week, the Dental Clinic has provided a large number of citizens and residents with its awareness service and medical examinations, as well as putting fluoride; in order to  prevent their teeth decay by 20-30%  given that, this procedure does not mean to stop using toothpastes and toothbrushes.
 
Besides, the blood bank laboratory clinic, participating in the 30th Janadriyah Festival, has recorded a large number of blood donors of different blood types, after checking that they meet eligibility requirements for blood donors.
 
Furthermore, The MOH Security and Safety General Department has presented a live show, for visitors of Janadriyah Village. The show comprised significant information about methods of home safety, fire extinguishing and the use of fire extinguishers. The show, also, includes questions related to security and safety, asked by the visitors of different ages, as well as handing out participation awards and awareness brochures.
 
Since the beginning of the festival, a lot of citizens have visited the Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) clinic, where they received awareness brochures Also, they received training on how to save others’ lives, and introductory tours on first-aid handling emergencies, such as diabetes, asthma attacks, burns, fractures and bleeding. In addition, awareness publications have been distributed on how to save lives of unconscious people.
 
In conclusion, a lot of the ladies, who visited the clinic, have been provided with medical education, clinical examinations and mammogram screening.
