Dr. Al-Hemeidi Lauds King Abdullah's Directives of Allocating SR 15 Billion for Health Services

The Deputy Minister of Health for Curative Services, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Hemeidi, said that the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, of allocating SR 15.1 billion for construction of 22 health projects in a host of Saudi regions and governorates, and expropriating a number of parcels with the aim of constructing several health projects on them, as well as his approval to adopt a number of developmental projects for MOH facilities, highlight the care and interest paid by our Rulers, May Allah protect them, towards the health services under the cultural renaissance and continuous development of both infrastructure and services in our dear Kingdom.
 
Dr. Al-Hemeidi pointed out that the projects, included within the directives of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, are expected to have a great influence over the health services system, provide services of all levels (primary, general, specialized and reference health care), contribute, Allah willingly, to supporting the health services, and achieve a great quantum leap in the health sector, upon which the integrated comprehensive healthcare national project has focused. “The Ministry of Health has adopted the slogan “Patient First” and gave priority to the needs of patients,” added Dr. Al-Hemeidi.
 
“Such a gracious support paid by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques,” added Dr. Al-Hemeidi, “will have a good influence over the comprehensive developmental efforts witnessed currently in the Ministry of Health as well as the quantum leap witnessed in all MOH services and facilities; such a leap that aims to provide a high-standard level of services for patients and gain their satisfaction. The MOH has recently conducted a wide range of programs that aim to serve patients and achieve the slogan “Patient First”.
 
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Hemeidi said that the MOH witnesses a wide range of developmental projects, being currently implemented, put forward and approved in MOH’s budget. These projects include construction and development of medical cities, private and general hospitals, and medical towers, pointing out that, such projects are existent all over the regions and governorates of the Kingdom and will contribute, Allah willingly, to upgrading the level of health services.
