Prince Mohamed bin Abdulaziz Hospital to Be Inaugurated Tomorrow under King Abdullah's Patronage

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, May Allah protect him, is to patronize the inauguration ceremony of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMBAH) on Sunday, 28th of April, 2013 (corresponding to 18th of Jumada II, 1434H) in Riyadh.
 
This was announced by His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah. On this occasion, Dr. Al-Rabeeah, on his own account and on behalf of all health sectors' employees, has extended the deepest and loftiest thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, his Royal Highness and the Second Deputy Prime Minister, May Allah protect them, for their unstinting support to the health sector and their keen interest to provide the means of the health care to the honored citizens.
 
Dr. Al-Rabeeah kept on adding that Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMBAH) has been constructed, equipped with a capacity of 500 beds, according to the best global designs, taking into account the implementation of the highest standards of quality. The hospital consists of 5 floors including the medical services, operations section, which comprises 15 digital operation rooms, from which 10 basic rooms, 4 one day-operation rooms, and another room for emergencies, as well as x-ray section of the modern diagnostic radiology hardware such as: an, CT-Scan, mammo, MRI, and other devices. That is to be added to the emergency department including 63 beds, as well as laboratories, blood bank, the intensive care and burns treatment of units, which includes 102 beds. It’s noteworthy that this department is reckoned one of the largest emergency departments in the region. Moreover, the hospital includes 85outpatient clinics and a dialysis unit, which consists of 52 chairs, in addition to an integrated suite of rehabilitation and physical therapy.
