Dr. Khoshaim thanks the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for patronizing the inauguration ceremony of health projects.

His Excellency Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Dr. Mohamed Hamzah Khoshaim, extended his deepest thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud- May Allah protect him- for his patronizing of the inauguration ceremony of health projects, including  the launch of  29 hospitals and health facilities and 391 primary healthcare centers, as well as  laying the foundation stone for two medical cities in the northern and southern regions, projects in three medical cities, a specialist hospital, seven general hospitals, two medical towers, 73 digital operation theatres, and 111  primary healthcare centers at a total cost of SR 12.084.987.421.


 Dr. Khoshaim confirmed that this gracious patronage comes among the continuing concern and unlimited support granted to the Ministry of Health from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince- may Allah protect them-, indicating that these launched projects will be a qualitative and quantitative leap in the curative and precautionary health services provided by the Ministry for citizens and residents in all regions of the Kingdom; as these facilities will add more beds and four levels of health services.


His Excellency pointed out that the Ministry of Health is currently leading developmental movements, aiming to improve the level of health service so as to achieve the expectations of the rulers - may Allah protect them-, meet the needs of citizens and patients, and gain their satisfaction. As The ministry adopted its decimal strategic health plan (1430-1440 AH) and the National Project for the comprehensive and integrated health care, which aim to provide the health care and the distribution of health facilities in a manner  achieving justice, comprehensiveness in distribution of health services, as well as easy accessibility and benefit from them.
