Celebrating the Safe Return of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Minister of Health Expand Patient Visiting Hours

​Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, directed to expand inpatients visiting hours in all MOH hospitals and facilities, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for 3 days. This will commence the day of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques arrival as a celebration of His Highness safe return.
 
This was stated by the Official Spokesman for MOH, Dr. Khalid Marglani, clarifying that this expansion is part of the celebration program, which contains a lot of events under the slogan of “Get Well Soon “ .In addition, he clarified that all health affairs directorates have been informed to expand patients visiting hours and allow children to visit their parents .
 
Moreover, he asserted that such a step shows MOH dedication to serve patients under the slogan of “Patient First”. MOH has recently started Patient Relations Program, which is the link between MOH and patients. This program aims to provide comfortable environment for patients in health facilities and to comply with their needs and feedbacks toward the provided services. In addition, this program is responsible for planning how to improve communication mechanisms with patients and their families, that is by allowing them to express their opinions about provided health services. It’s also responsible for setting and developing patient relations work-related procedures, policies and the mechanism for dealing with the complaints of patients and their families in order to reach their satisfaction.
