Iraqi Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al Husnawi, pointed out the high quality health care provided to the Iraqi conjoined twins, Zainab and Ruqayah, based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. Dr. Al Husnawi described this gesture as a genuine Arabian gesture from the Kingdom of Humanity.
Dr. Al Husnawi communicated his thanks and appreciation to King Abdullah as well as to the Medical Team for the outcome of the separation performed at the King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Guard Health Affairs – Riyadh. He also stated in a press conference held yesterday: "we are grateful for all the great efforts provided by the medical and surgical team headed by the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is well known of their generous and humanitarian initiatives.
The Iraqi Minister of Health added that the conjoined twin health condition was critical, but thanks to the medical and surgical Saudi team high experience and tremendous efforts, which adds to the Kingdom's high medical achievements.
