HE Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Minister of Health was invited to deliver his presentation on ‘Conjoined Twins Experience in Saudi Arabia (1990 – 2010) at the Cornell University, New York on 20 December.
To date, the Kingdom’s Multidisciplinary Team headed by Dr. Rabeeah has reviewed the cases of 62 sets of twins referred to the Kingdom from 16 countries over the last 20 years. 34 were found to be non-operable and 28 cases have been successfully separated.
The presentation highlighted the humanitarian gesture and full support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah, who through his compassion has changed so many lives.
The presentation was very well received and thereafter scientific discussions were held with faculty members and interns.
