Al-Rabeeah commends Haj achievement
09 December 2009
The Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah has raised his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques king Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, His Highness the Heir to the Throne, and His Highness the Second Deputy Premier, Chairman of High Haj Committee, on the occasion of conclusion of Haj rituals.

He said in the telegram he raised on this occasion that the results of a field survey and a study carried out on the health situation among the pilgrims, citizens and residents, in Makkah, Madeenah, and the sacred shrines, have confirmed that no epidemic or quarantine disease has been detected during the rituals of this year's Haj. The plans set by MOH for confronting risks expected due to the H1N1 epidemic have proved to be effective and the health status of pilgrims is fine.

He said this achievement could not have been a reality if not for God support and the care devoted to the health services during Haj rituals by our esteemed government.

He extended his gratitude, on behalf of all MOH personnel, to the High Court for the care paid to and opening of King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC), a grand medical edifice and a vital source for high quality medical services for the people of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the pilgrims, and Omrah performers.
