MOH sets a program for perfect treatment

The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane has approved a program titled (Towards Good Dealing with Patients at Health Establishments). Organized under the motto (Welcome .. Serving You Pleases Us), the program targets MOH doctors, pharmacists, nurses, technicians, managers outpatient clinics, emergency officials, on duty officials, public relations employees, and receptionists).
 
The program's supervisor and MOH official spokesman Dr. Khalid Al-Marghalani, said the program works for realizing strategic goals at both short and long terms. According to Al-Marghalani, the short term agenda include enlightening service providers that meeting patient needs lies within the core of their professional responsibilities. It also aims at setting a system for enabling service providers and decision makers to carry out continuous measurements for clients' satisfaction. The health facilities are requested at the short term to implement policies and procedures that ensure fulfillment of patient rights and satisfaction.
 
On the long term, the program aims at improving workers' communication skills, ensuring effective implementation of the standards set for patients' rights by the Saudi Commission for Accrediting Health Establishments (SCAHE), and spreading the culture of good dealing with clients of health facilities.
