The MOH Director General of Health Information and Relations Dr. Khalid M. Al-Marghlani said MOH has accomplished its preparations for participating in the activities of the 2008 National Festival for Legacy and Culture in Al-Janadria. The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abduallah Al-Mane has directed formation of an executive committee for supervising the preparatory works for participating in the festival and coordinating with relative MOH bodies for preparing the MOH booth in the festival.
He said MOH participation in the festival comes in line with an interest within the MOH to participate in this highly important cultural and social event, which reflects the interest of our leadership to preserve the values and traditions of the Saudi society.
According to Dr. Al-Marghalani, the Ministry of Health seeks through such participation to highlight the achievements in healthcare provision and inform the public on the fast developments which has been witnessed within the health sector since the establishment of the Ministry of Health.
It is worth notifying here that MOH participates annually in Al-Janadria festival, where it provides educational and health services to the visitors of the event. The public are also informed on the MOH health projects and facilities.
