The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane signed today Saturday June 23, 2007 a contract with Al-Jabrin Contracting Est. for establishing North Riyadh Hospital (300 beds) with a total cost of SR186,732,552.30 (Only one hundred eighty six million, seven hundred thirty two thousand, five hundred fifty two Saudi Riyals and 30 halalas). He also signed a contract ) with Al-Majal Al-Arabi GP, in consolidation with Al-Yamamah Co., for establishing East Jeddah Hospital (300 beds) with a total cost of SR187,467,977 (Only one hundred eighty seven million four hundred sixty seven thousand, nine hundred seventy seven Saudi Riyals). He moreover signed a contract with Al-Rajhi Development Co. for establishing 3 hospitals (50 beds each) in feefa (jazan), Khabash (Najran), and Tannuma (Aseer), with a total cost of SR83,781,300 (Only eighty three million seven hundred eighty one thousand three hundred Saudi Riyals).
Dr. Al-Mane also signed a 3 year contract with the Gulf Computer and Electronic Equipment Co. for operation and maintenance of computers, computer accessories, and the sewage network at the MOH Headquarters with a total cost of SR99,000,000 (Only ninety nine million Saudi Riyals).
He said the contracts signed today are part of the efforts exerted by MOH to provide the best quality services to our citizens in the different parts of the Kingdom.
The contracts are continuation of establishment contracts signed with a number of companies this year with a total cost of SR961,502,731 (Only nine hundred sixty one million five hundred and two thousand seven hundred thirty one Saudi Riyals).
