A Study course on health information opened

Under the auspices of the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane, the MOH Undersecretary for Planning and Development Dr. Obeid Al-Obeid opened on Tuesday 21/04/1428 at the MOH General Directorate for Training and Scholarship, a study course on Specialized Skills of Health Information (Negotiation, Persuasion, Report Writing). The Course is organized by the MOH General Directorate of Information and Health Education in cooperation with Sanovy and Dar Al-Mahaliya Companies.
 
Dr. Khalid Al-Marghalani, the General Supervisor of Information and Health Education, said the 3 day course aims at developing the skills of participant MOH employees in the field of health information and public relations. The study shall enable participants, including public relations specialists and press reporters, to effectively apply the strategies of negotiation, approaches for persuasion, and press reporting.
 
He said the course program starts each day at 8:30am and ends at 2:30pm. The first day includes two parts, in the first of which Dr. Mohammed Al-Bishi, the lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration, shall train the participants on the basics of negotiation, the properties of a good negotiator, and applications on negotiation strategies. In the evening Ust. Sulaiman Al-Oqaili, Manager of Al-Watan newspaper office in Riyadh shall review some applications on specialized press reporting. On Wednesday and Thursday Ust. Abdullah Al-Sameeh, the lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration, shall train the participants on the basics of press reporting, its forms, and writing titles.
