The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane signed on Wednesday May 2, 2007, at his office two health contracts with two national companies. The first contract signed with Al-Fowzan Trading and General Contracting involves establishing a 300 bed hospital in eastern Riyadh by a total cost of SR214,496,073.
The second contract has been signed with Sider Trading and General Contracting for operation and medical and non-medical maintenance of Riyadh Medical Complex by a total cost of SR155,000,000.
On this occasion, Mr. Al-Mane told reporters that the contracts have been signed with two leading companies in the field of establishing, maintaining and operation of hospitals. Through the two projects, he said MOH is intending to provide health services to all parts of the Kingdom.
He expressed his hope that MOH shall be able in the near future to provide more health services through the other MOH facilities to all citizens and residents.
